We have a variety of self-contained apartments just steps away from the stunning Onetangi beach. This family-friendly resort offers a choice of fully self-contained one, two and three bedroom apartments. All within walking distance to cafes, beach and wineries.

The accommodation at The Sands is self-contained and unserviced. Initial provisions supplied include soaps; laundry, kitchen and bathroom, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and toilet paper. These are not replenished during the stay.

Each apartment features:

All bed and bathroom linen provided (beach towels available for hire)

Portacots and high chairs available for hire (24 hours notice required)

Laundry facilities including washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board

Hairdryer

SKY Television including complimentary sport & movie channels (please note apartment 9 doesn't have SKY, please ask when booking)

Wi-Fi

Onsite parking (one per apartment)

Shared BBQ on the complex with outdoor shower to wash off post-beach.

Minimum Stay Periods:

3 nights minimum - Waitangi/NZ Day, Labour Weekend, Easter Weekend & Anzac Weekend

7 nights minimum - Christmas / New Year, 4 nights middle January.

All other times 2-night minimum or as per agreement

The penthouse apartment has uninterrupted views overlooking Onetangi Bay, three bedrooms, two bathrooms , open plan living & dinning area which open out onto a large balcony's.
